Rockwell Development Group has quietly floated a sketch plan for 150 townhouses at 501 Washington Street, a riverfront parcel that technically sits in Whitemarsh Township but reads as Conshy to anyone with eyes and a car. Sketch plans are the polite first knock on the door, well before shovels or angry zoning meetings, but 150 units is not a rounding error.
Whether you love the idea of more neighbors near the river or you flinch at the words Fayette Street traffic, this one is worth watching. MoreThanTheCurve has the site plan link if you want to see how the blocks lay out. Read the full write-up here.
Sketch to shovel is a long road in this borough, so pour a coffee and settle in.
