Data center proposal lands in West Conshohocken

·

Innovation 411 Fee Owner, LLC has submitted a conditional use application for a data center with the Borough of West Conshohocken, according to MoreThanTheCurve. The report names developer Brian O'Neill in connection with the project.

The excerpt we have does not say how big the building would be or when a hearing might happen. Conditional use is a zoning approval, so the borough has to sign off before anything gets built. We will pass along dates once they exist.

Skill game ban is now in effect and the Conshohocken VFW feels it

·

Pennsylvania officials warned local businesses in recent weeks to remove skill games from their premises, and the ban is now in effect, MoreThanTheCurve reports. The impact is being felt at the VFW in Conshohocken.

In June, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court ruled that skill game machines are slot machines, which makes them illegal outside licensed casinos and truck stops. 6abc reported the local VFW stands to lose thousands of dollars because of the ban.

Flocco's on Fayette Street turns 100 on Sunday

·

Flocco's Shoes, Clothes and Formalwear has called Fayette Street in Conshohocken home for 100 years, and it will celebrate on Sunday, October 25, MoreThanTheCurve reports.

A hundred years in one spot is a serious run for any shop. Plenty of us have outlasted fewer pairs of shoes than that. The details of the day were cut off in the excerpt we have, so check with the store before you head down.

Local News

Conshy Bulldogs plan a free lacrosse clinic for kids

·

The Conshy Bulldogs are hosting a free lacrosse clinic for kids who want to try the sport on Saturday, November 7, according to MoreThanTheCurve.

The excerpt does not list a time, a place, or an age range, so we will leave those alone rather than guess. If your kid has been eyeing a stick, it is a no-cost way to find out.
