On the civic side, Borough Council has a special public meeting scheduled for this evening at 5:30 p.m. The stated purpose is for Council to discuss goals, which is the sort of agenda item that could mean anything from big-picture priorities to line-by-line budget haggling. Either way, it is open to the public if you want to see how the sausage gets planned before it gets made. See the notice on the Borough news page.
Also worth noting for anyone tracking the Borough's long-running facilities question: the Plymouth Township Zoning Hearing Board voted 5-0 on September 21st to grant zoning relief for Conshohocken's proposed new public works facility, which will sit in Plymouth Township. One vote, five yeses, and a project moves forward. That is not always how these things go.
